These visitors make themselves free of the lawns and gardens of the homes around the Lake. The geese are both loved and reviled by the Tahoe residents.

Limited Addition Giclee printed by CaliColor.

Paper: Epson Hot Press Rag natural: An acid-free, 100% cotton rag media with a natural smooth finish. This paper has an extremely high color gamut (range of colors visible to the human eye) and black density.

Ink: Epson UltraChrome Pro with a lightfastness rating of 200+ years.

Geese inhabit the shoreline of Lake Tahoe, settling in to make a noisy chorus, dig up lawns looking for grubs and add fertilizer to gardens. They are a beloved nuisance and a fixture of summers at the lake.  Watercolor done on 140 lb. Arches paper.

Canadian geese populate the shores of Lake Tahoe, acting as if they own the place. Wonderful and horrible, depending on who you talk to and how much work the property owners have to do.  Funny sight: the "Goose Dance" where  people are waving arms and yelling to get the geese off the lawns and docks.
